Invite codes

An invite code is optional when you sign up. Anyone can register for free. A code unlocks hosting and organizations by starting a Pro trial on the new account. The trial lasts 30 days unless the site settings say otherwise.

Using a code

• When you sign up, type the code into the invite code box. A wrong or used code is refused.
• If you already have an account, open Invites from the menu and enter the code in the redeem box.
• A code can be locked to one email address. If it is, you must sign up with that address.

Giving out codes

Site staff grant invites to members. Open Invites, press Generate, and share the code or the copy link. You can lock a code to an email address if you want. The list on the page shows which codes are open and which have been redeemed.

If you have no invites left, the page says so. Invites are granted by site staff, so there is no automatic top-up.
